the artists closet
Upstairs at the other end of the hall (between Lisa Marie and John) are supplies for installation/deinstallation and studio upkeep.
tools - new hammer, t-quare, small and large level, tape measure (all on the wall), ladder, new spackle, painting supplies, box of number pins, spare lightbulbs for Hatch, toolbox with pliers and screwdrivers.
maintenance - broom and dustpan, vacuum (please empty after using)
*paint* I've requested a new gallon of paint since the little we had left was dried up. Charlie will be bringing one up for us to keep. At the moment, the hallway paint and the Hatch gallery paint are the SAME white, so you can also use it to touch up halls outside your studio if you are re-hanging your work there.
As for hanging hardware, I put in some new boxes of basic picture hanging hooks and nails. If you need something different for your work, please provide it yourself or work with Chase (for pedestals or lift) or Caroline Chen (if you think it's something the group could benefit from using - click button to the left).
And please... put everything back neatly for the next person. 😀
Thank you Caroline Brown for organizing everything and for keeping our supplies fresh.
carts
Upstairs by the microwave - there's a shopping cart and a new (yay!) utility cart for moving paintings. I'm pretty sure the poles on it can be moved to accommodate different sized things. Feel free to use, but please return to the closet.
