The Riverfront Bakery

The Delaware Contemporary/Riverfront Bakery Art Partnership is seeking Studio Artists to participate in the next round of exhibitions at the Riverfront Bakery. Please fill out the form below if you are interested to help gauge availability.

Installations stay up for 3 months, turnover is the first week of the month. 

Artwork will be curated and installed by staff of TDC and must be wired and meet size requirements.

Any sales will be handled by TDC; sales will be split 80/20 (Artist: 80% TDC: 20%)

FY24 DIVERSITY, EQUITY AND INCLUSION SESSIONS

In FY24 there will be 4 sessions offered for Board, Staff and Studio Artists to attend in person. We are in the process of also identifying online options for incoming Board, Staff and Studio Artists and for those who are unable to attend at least one of the in person sessions.

Thursday, October 12, 2023 | 5:00 - 6:30 PM with light refreshments.

● This is to be held in one of the galleries at the museum. The theme for the fall

exhibitions is Escape.

● Facilitator is to be determined. Gallery will be chosen after the fall installation in order to relate it to a topic that can be entwined with a DEI topic.

Internally facilitated by a member of the staff, board or artists:

Thursday, February 22, 2024 | 5:00 - 6:30 PM with light refreshments.

● This is to be held in one of the galleries at the museum. The theme for the fall

exhibitions is Recraft.

● Facilitator is to be determined. Gallery will be chosen after the fall installation in order to relate it to a topic that can be entwined with a DEI topic.

Session with a professional facilitator:

Saturday, April 27, 2024 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM with continental breakfast.

● Facilitator: Adrienne Bey, PhD, LCSW, SHRM-SCP from Wilmington University.

● The topic will be chosen from the list of choices provided by Dr. Bey.

Social Gathering Session:

Friday, June 14, 2024 | 5:00 - 7:00 PM

This will be either a happy hour gathering at a local spot or possibly a pot luck dinner at the museum with all attending bringing something to share. Other options may be considered.

Upstairs by the microwave - there's a shopping cart and a new (yay!) utility cart for moving paintings. I'm pretty sure the poles on it can be moved to accommodate different sized things. Feel free to use, but please return to the closet.
